Gelli Plate printing is a wonderful way to explore the surface texture of objects. A difficult process to describe, but once you tune in, will probably have you hooked by the end of this course.

The gelli plates we will use are made of silicone.

Day 1

A discussion of what can be produced on the gelli plate with some examples.

An exploration of the gelli plate surface using recycled items and natural objects. 

Day 2

You will work with your printed experiments to make books which open out to display the prints we have made
