Anita has lived in Scotland for 25 years. She has attained Master of Design and B.Design (Hons) degree in textile design (constructed textiles) studying at the University of Dundee.She creates stitched, printed and constructed textiles, created with items she has found on the beach whilst exploring the coast, or takes inspiration from nature seen whilst walking the footpaths and munros of Scotland. A new body of work is created for Pittenweem arts festival each year. Anita uses relief print to record details of her found materials, to create a base on paper or fabric for stitching, and uses collagraph and monotypes to create landscape and cottage pictures of Scotland.
